About Krumms

Terry Krumm is the owner of the present day Krumm's Indian
-- but Krumm's Indian originally began in the 1940s when
Terry's father and Uncle were the Krumm's Indian
Motorcycle dealer in Austin, Texas.
As a young man Terry worked in his father’s shop learning
to wrench on Indians by some of the best Indian hot-rodders
in the business. These pros could squeeze every available
horse out of an Indian Motor, and Krumm's Indians were
some of the fastest around then.
Fast forward to today, Terry has taken Indian engine
building to the highest level with his performance engine
building experience, better engineering from R&D, and use
of higher-grade materials, better machine shop equipment,
and closer fit tolerances. All of this puts the motors
that Terry Krumm builds in a league of their own.
Do not confuse a Krumm “complete restoration” with a
“clean and paint restoration” performed by many retirees
or part-timers doing restorations in their spare time.
Krumm’s Indian is a full-time and fully staffed operation.
Every engine and transmission is torn down and
professionally rebuilt. While Terry performs most of the
assembly and engine building, he also personally inspects
all work performed by his very experienced staff of Indian
restoration professionals. Indian motorcycles are Terry’s
life work and he is a master in his trade who is always
gives his customers the quality they expect for their
hard-earned money.
